The pages were clean with no writing on it. Really great read. I have not read the Medicare or Insurance sections yet. Also purchased "The Good Carb Cookbook" by Woodruff and it's nice; but not great. The websites given were also okay --good enough to point you in a certain direction but sometimes too vague..
